Meditation

Recent surge in scientific evidence for benefits of meditation has prompted me to share my secret of happiness, which otherwise, when told by me, is taken as bull shit ;)
The idea is simple and stated by Supreme Yogi Krishna in Bhagwat Gita as a "practice by offering the movement of the outgoing breath into the incoming, and the incoming breath into the outgoing", which can be broken down in following practical steps, a.k.a. protocol!
1. chose a place, a little isolated and available same time every day for at least 15 minutes
2. chose a position which is comfortable for you, remember you have to sit continuously for the above period...
3. use some kind of alarm to time you, and let it go
4. close your eyes, minimize sound or smell in the environment... idea is to reduce sensory inputs... YES close your laptop, mobile-phones and ... ;)
5. try to focus on your breath, feel it flowing out and then coming in, flowing out, coming in... if you are getting distracted too often, then start counting the inflow and outflow of each breath, practice it for couple of time and if still unable to focus, then try out some kind of mantra... still not working? then you can start with some kind of mental imagery which makes you feel relaxed, mountain-top, beach, ... still find meditation very hard? Just rinse and repeat, remember what this girl says :)
